Hostal Antigua is a beautiful property on the most famous street of Antigua, “Arch Street”. At the end of this street you will find Antigua’s most famous landmark, the Santa Catalina Arch. We are just one and a half blocks from Antigua’s central park and Cathedral in a very safe and quiet location. Within just minutes of walking, you will find many enticing restaurants and shops, along with museums, galleries, and areas of historical importance.
Hostal Antigua is a unique Hostel, built to offer travelers a cheaper option while still offering amenities not normally found in a hostel such as Cable TV and private bathrooms inside each private room. We offer the option of 4-bed dormitories and 12-bed dormitories depending on preference. Additionally, we offer a fully equipped kitchen for your use on our beautiful rooftop terrace where you can enjoy the stunning views of Antigua and the volcanoes.
Hostal Antigua has an extremely relaxed and laid-back atmosphere. You´ll find guests relaxing on the roof terrace in the sun enjoying a good book, or taking a nap in the shade amidst the lush plants and flowers. Our hostel is safe, calm, and peaceful compared to other hostels you might´ve experienced before.
Hostal Antigua has a total of 7 comfortable rooms, all with beautifully hand-made Guatemalan typical furniture & textiles. We offers 4 private rooms and 3 dormitory rooms. All of our hostel rooms (excluding the 12-bed dorm) have cable TV, Wi-Fi, fans, new anti-stress beds and a full bathroom inside the room. The large 12 bed dormitory has 2 full bathrooms inside.
